Cape Town - SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo is the latest Absa Premiership coach to hit out at referees after his side were on the receiving end of some poor decisions in the 2-2 draw with Black Leopards.
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and Cape Town City coach Benni McCarthy have recently been scathing in their criticism of the poor standard of officiating.
And Tembo has joined the fray after Leopards were awarded a controversial penalty in the closing stages of the encounter, with Pentjie Zulu converting to claim a share of the spoils for Lidoda Duvha.
"It's not my business to talk about referees because it's not going to change anything. It's what we have. We have to deal with that even though it's frustrating," Tembo told KickOff.
"But what can we do? That's what we have. We have to deal with that. I can't talk about referees. It's disappointing.
"Players are frustrated because you come in, you work hard then one moment, someone just decides [the outcome] of the game. But that's what we have, let's deal with it.
"That's why players end up taking things into their own hands because they are frustrated. We saw with [Mpho] Makola, [Gaston] Sirino. I don't want to talk about the referees to be honest."
