Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns forward Percy Tau says he will stay focused in the club's challenge for honours despite being trailed by a number of sides in the race for the Absa Premiership title.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a stellar season in front of goal and is in the running for the Absa Premiership Player of the Season award. In 23 league appearances, the player has scored nine league goals and could also scoop the top goalscorer gong as well.
In addition, the Brazilians appear to be on course for the Absa Premiership title while also remaining alive in the CAF Champions League, as well as the Nedbank Cup.
The talented Bafana Bafana ace told the Sowetan: "It's not just Pirates (who are putting pressure on us). They are playing a league game and we are not, so we will feel them.
"I focus so much on the now that I don't think about what will happen tomorrow. I feel I have done well. There has been progress. I am still 23 and there is still so much football to play."
Speaking about the Champions League campaign, Tau added: "It's a tournament that got me to play in the Club World Cup. We are used to Champions League and playing games that are on the edge."
