SuperSport yet to make decision on Lebese

Cape Town - SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo has revealed the club are undecided as to whether sign winger George Lebese on a permanent basis.

Lebese has been on loan at United during the second half of the 2018/19 campaign where he has made seven appearances.

The 30-year-old was frozen out of the Brazilians and failed to make an appearance for the 2016 African champions during his time there this campaign.

In addition, Matsatsantsa are to make a decision on the future of veteran centre-back Morgan Gould and Clayton Daniels amongst others, though central midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane is leaving at the end of the season.

Tembo said: "We haven't made any discussions on the movements of Lebese. We are waiting for the season to end, then we can see if we will keep him or not.

"All players including Gould and Daniels' situation will be discussed during the off-season.

"They are still contracted to us. As soon as we agree on something, announcements will be made."

United were beaten 3-1 by Maritzburg United last weekend and are next in action in their final Premiership game against Highlands Park on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
