SuperSport United goalkeeper Boalefa Pule on Friday signed a three-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2023.
The 30-year-old gloveman has been with the club since 2011 and has been the backup choice to first-team starter Ronwen Williams, who has taken over as captain of Matsatsantsa.
"SuperSport United is pleased to announce that Boalefa Pule has signed a three-year extension which will see him at the club until 2023," the club revealed via Twitter.
Pule hasn't made an appearance for SuperSport over the last two years, last playing for them in 2016 when Stuart Baxter was in charge.
"It's not easy for a goalkeeper who is sitting behind the most-capped player and captain at his club to maintain the highest levels of professionalism and consistency," said CEO Stan Matthews following confirmation of Pule's new contract, as quoted by KickOff.
"Boalefa is now one of our longest-serving players and we are delighted that our goalkeeping department has the depth that it does."
