Cape Town - SuperSport United have made a number of significant changes to their backroom coaching staff, with former captain Thabo September taking up an assistant coaching role.
September replaces Nico Labohm, who has been demoted to the club's Multichoice Diski Challenge team. This means Andre Arendse has been promoted to the role of first assistant and right-hand man of head coach Kaitano Tembo.
Matsatsantsa have also acquired the services of former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Grant Johnson as part of their goalkeeper coaching staff.
"We have brought in Thabo September as second assistant coach because he is doing his coaching badges," SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews told KickOff.
"Andre Arendse is now serving as first assistant coach while Grant Johnson is coming in to support our goalkeeper coaching staff."
