Cape Town - SuperSport United have bolstered their attacking options with the arrivals of promising forwards Jamie Webber and Luke le Roux from Stellenbosch.

Webber, 19, featured for the senior South Africa national team in the Cosafa Cup last year and has been tracked by a host of Premiership clubs due to his exploits in the National First Division.

However, Matsatsansa secured the signature of the highly-rated talent, while the 17-year-old Le Roux was recalled from his loan after passing matric in Cape Town.

Le Roux signed for the Tshwane giants as a 15-year-old after attending trails at Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle - but spent the past two years in his hometown with Ikapa Sporting and Stellenbosch.

The arrivals of the South African youth internationals follows the trend of the CAF Confederation Cup finalists recent transfer policy of signing young players who are ready to contest for first-team football.

"Luke and Jamie join our established youngsters like Teboho Mokoena and Sipho Mbule, along with new recruits such as Darren Smith and Dylan Stoffels," SuperSport CEO Stanley Matthews told reporters.

"Fagrie Lakay was not getting the game time he needs and we decided to let him go out on loan but he is still in our plans and hopefully will get a chance at Ajax.

"We have a host of young exciting players who can help take us forward to sustained future success."
