SuperSport eager to collect 3-points at Celtic

Cape Town - SuperSport United will look to get back to winning ways when they travel Bloemfontein Celtic for an Absa Premiership clash on Wednesday.

The MTN8 champions will have been disappointed as they dropped points over the weekend after a 2-2 draw at home with Black Leopards.

Matsatsantsa are currently seventh on the log standings after accumulating 12-points from eight matches.

They will again look to their strike partnership of Bradley Grobler and Thamsanqa Gabuza to get the goals.

Celtic have also not won in their last two encounters after being knocked out of the Telkom Knockout last week.

In fact, their last win came more than a month ago at home when they beat newly-promoted Stellenbosch FC 1-0.

They will need to to have a solid defence to counter the potent strike force of SuperSport and will tactically look to play on the counter-attack.

The match kicks off at 19:30 from the Dr Molemela Stadium.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
