Cape Town - SuperSport United have confirmed the deadline-day capture of Bafana Bafana winger Mandla Masango on loan until the end of the season.
Masango, 27, is reunited with coach Stuart Baxter, with whom he won two league titles while the pair were together at Kaizer Chiefs before the winger left for Randers FC in Denmark.
The Bafana Bafana player told Sport24 last year that he had no interest in returning to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) following his successful maiden season in Denmark.
However, Masango then became embroiled in a dispute with the club, where they blocked a move to another Danish team, Aalborg.
He made his last appearance for Randers in July last year.
"We have a nicely settled squad right now and were not really looking to bring anyone on mid-season," Baxter told the PSL website.
"When the chance came to sign Mandla I had the confidence of having worked with him before so I know he will adapt quickly.
"Mandla will hopefully add an extra spark as we compete on domestic and continental fronts."
SuperSport will kick-off their PSL campaign against Golden Arrows on Wednesday, February 8.
