Mamelodi Sundowns might go into Saturday’s top of the table clash against Bidvest Wits without Khama Biliat, Anthony Laffor and Anele Ngcongca.
According to the club’s official website, all three players picked up injuries in the midweek league win against Platinum Stars.
Ngcongca suffered a groin injury, while Laffor picked up an ankle injury and Billiat a dead leg.
Coach Pitso Mosimane admitted to the trio’s impact but also pointed out that it should never be excuse not to perform when they face Wits.
"It would be a blow if we were to miss all three players at the same time, especially that that our schedule is this tight, but we can never use that as an excuse," said Mosimane.
"As long as we have eleven players on the field and seven substitutes, we have to fight on."
