Sundowns to give Mahachi another chance

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is said to be willing to give Zimbabwe international winger Kudakwashe Mahachi another chance to prove himself.

Mahachi played in 13 league matches for Sundowns in the 2014/15 season, but spent last season at Durban-based Golden Arrows on loan, where he netted four goals in 25 matches in league and cup.

According to a source quoted by KickOff, Mosimane is now considering recalling the diminutive wide player to Pretoria.

"Coach Pitso has expressed interest to keep Mahachi for this coming season," claimed the source.

"Mahachi always wanted to remain at Sundowns and believes he still has a lot to offer to the club."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
