Cape Town - Out-of-favour Mamelodi Sundowns striker Thokozani Sekotlong is reportedly on the radar of Black Leopards should Downs let him go in January.
Sekotlong is yet to make an appearance in 2018/19 for the Brazilians and it appears his long-term future rests away from Chloorkop.
According to a Soccer Laduma report, the 27-year-old could go on loan to Leopards before the close of the January transfer window on Thursday.
A source told the publication that talks are ongoing about a switch for the talented forward.
Sekotlong signed a five-year contract with the 2016 African champions in 2017, however, has since struggled to make his mark.
The source said: "Thokozani Sekotlong is likely to be loaned from Mamelodi Sundowns to Black Leopards.
"Talks have been started for the deal to happen. The parties should know before the end of the week if the deal will be finalised or not."
The player has made 12 appearances in all competitions under coach Pitso Mosimane while contributing two goals along the way since 2017/18.
