Cape Town - Bafana Bafana legend Phil Masinga has backed Mamelodi Sundowns to make a clean sweep of the remaining silverware in the 2015/16 season.
Having already bagged the Telkom Knockout title, Masinga is banking on the Brazilians to add the Nedbank Cup and league title to their collection.
The impressive Sundowns, who also ended 2015 at the summit of the Absa Premiership table, will also compete in the CAF Champions League.
"They have been consistent so far in the season, therefore they have the chances of winning the treble this season," Masinga told Soccer Laduma.
"For them to achieve this feat, they would have to add at least a striker to the squad. They have good strikers but I believe they need one more to be complete. Once they do that they have all the chances of winning a treble this season."
Sundowns will resume their campaign with a league clash against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, January 9.
Kick-off is at 20:15.
