Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns will hope for a return to winning ways in the Absa Premiership when they host unpredictable Black Leopards at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Wednesday.
Sundowns suffered their first league loss of the season when they were beaten 2-0 on home soil by AmaZulu on 29 January. It was the Brazilians' first defeat in more than a year.
With that said, they roared back soon after as they smashed ASEC Mimosas 3-1 in a CAF Champions League encounter.
Coach Pitso Mosimane's men have claimed 11 points from eight matches in 2018/19 as their only two losses came against Free State Stars and Maritzburg United.
Meanwhile, Leopards also saw their recent five match unbeaten streak come to an end as they lost to Bloemfontein Celtic on 3 February.
However, Lidoda Duvha have managed just six points from nine away matches this campaign.
In head-to-head statistics, Leopards and Sundowns have met in 18 league games since the 2001/02 season.
Downs have grabbed 11 wins compared to five for Leopards, while just two games have been a draw.
The Pretoria-based outfit have recorded seven wins and suffered just one loss from their nine home matches against these opponents.
The action is set to get underway from 19:30 in Pretoria.
