Cape Town - A permanent resident permit for Mogakolodi Ngele will give Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane a very useful extra attacking option.
The Botswana international joins Sundowns' African team-mates Cuthbert Malajila, Khama Billiat, Denis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene and Anthony Laffor on South African residence permits, allowing the Pretoria club to still play five foreign players.
Ngele, who spent last season on loan at Bidvest Wits, could possibly make his return to playing for Sundowns when the Brazilians play the Students in a league game on November 21.
Mosimane is excited about the additional options the Zebras forward will bring his side.
"Ngele got his work permit, hopefully he will also come, we have been waiting for him.
"When I see free-kicks like [Marc] van Heerden's, we know we have somebody that can deliver those balls," the Downs mentor was quoted saying by KickOff.
Mosimane also revealed that Rivaldo Coetzee 'has taken off the moon boot' as the defender makes his way back from a foot injury.
