Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says his side is riding the crest of the wave of their good form from last season.
The Brazilians are going through a transition between two seasons without a break due to their CAF Champions League commitments.
Having won the Premiership and Telkom Knockout last season, Sundowns have transferred their good form into the continental competition.
Sundowns are one point away from qualifying for the semi-finals after wins over Enyimba and Zamalek (both 2-1).
"I guess we're riding on the momentum of the league, you know. We're just flowing with happened in the league," Mosimane told KickOff.
"I think after the Jomo Cosmos and Polokwane City games we went to Ajax Cape Town, which was very tough for us and it didn't look good - we settled for a point.
"Since then we haven't stopped, even after Tuks, the league was wrapped up but we kept going. We went to Wits and kept on with the momentum.
"We are just in that beautiful whirlpool, where we just keep going. It's a very good dream and I hope we don't wake up. Let's keep dreaming."
Sundowns will host Zamalek in their Group B return leg at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.
