Sundowns begin pre-season training on Sunday in North West

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns are set to begin their pre-season preparations for the 2018/19 campaign with a week-long camp planned in the North West Province.

According to Soccer Laduma website, Sundowns will begin to step up their preparations this coming weekend.

Despite the season having only ended recently, it appears the Brazilians are intent on getting a head start for the new campaign with a hectic schedule to come both domestically and in the CAF Champions League.

The 2017/18 Premiership champions are set to face AS Togo Port on July 17 in the Champions League before taking on Kaizer Chiefs on July 21 in the inaugural Shell Helix Cup.

The Brazilians played their last match in May against Horoya (2-2) in Group C and have had little over a month to recuperate.
