Cape Town - Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United centre-back Morgan Gould.
Gould's career started all the way back in 2001 with Jomo Cosmos and the 36-year-old shows no signs of hanging up his boots just yet.
Arguably, the most successful time of his career came with SuperSport and Chiefs from 2008 until 2015 where he won the Premiership title on multiple occasions under Gavin Hunt and Stuart Baxter respectively.
After leaving Chiefs in 2016 he returned to United for a further two seasons but did not get regular playing time in 2018/19 under Kaitano Tembo.
Nonetheless, the veteran defender will now bring his wealth of experience to newly-promoted Stellies for the upcoming campaign.
The club's official Twitter account said: "Stellenbosch strikes GOULD! Morgan Gould has ample PSL experience with League and Cup success at both Supersport United and Kaizer Chiefs. Welcome to #stellenboschfc."
