Stars winger Jantjie signs pre-contract with Wits

Cape Town - Wits have made their third signing of the January transfer window after agreeing a pre-contract deal with Free State Stars winger Sinethemba Jantjie.

The Clever Boys announced the capture of Ajax Cape Town duo Brandon Petersen and Prince Nxumalo on pre-contracts and have wasted little time in announcing a third signing for the 2019/20 Premiership campaign.

Jantjie, 29, has made 14 appearances in all competitions for Ea Lla Koto this season, bagging one goal and one assist.

The left winger, who joined Stars from Mbombela United in July 2016, will link up with Wits on 1 July, when his current contract expires.
