Sredojevic will talk about Pirates departure when 'things calm down'

Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic says he will comment on his sudden departure from the Soweto club when "things calm down".

The 49-year-old Serbian announced his resignation last Friday, citing his sick mother as a key factor in his decision to move on.

Sredojevic's decision caught many in the lcoal football fraternity by surprise, but the former Uganda and Rwanda head coach is not yet ready to speak about his time with Pirates.

"It will be disrespectful for me to speak and Orlando Pirates are out of the cup [MTN8]," he said as quoted by KickOff.com.

"Let things get calm down and after that we can talk later."

Sredojevic was also asked for his thoughts on Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane's recent words of praise for him, and he responded in kind.

He said: "I got the message and was it very touching, having special value and specific value and specific weight when it comes from such a football gentleman and coaching legend like Pitso.

"We shall still keep the friendship and love of the game."
