Soweto derby tickets go on sale

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates will host Kaizer Chiefs in late October's Soweto derby at the FNB Stadium - and tickets have gone on sale for the Premiership encounter.

It is a clash which is widely expected to get the pulses racing from fans on both sides.

League leaders Chiefs have won four matches in a row while Pirates are also showing some exciting form early on in the season.

The Glamour Boys currently enjoy a four point lead over Pirates, although Muhsin Ertugral's men have a game in hand.

Amakhosi won their last match 2-0 on Saturday against Ajax Cape Town, whereas the Happy People came from behind to salvage a draw against Polokwane City.

Nonetheless, the derby would likely be played in front of a sold out crowd in a number around 80 000 on Saturday, October 29.

With interest in the contest expected to be high, Pirates have announced that tickets for the game have gone on sale at Computicket.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
