Solinas: Manyama is an unbelievable player

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas believes recent signing Lebogang Manyama can be an 'unbelievable' attacking weapon for his side once he gets fit.

The 28-year-old signed for the Glamour Boys as a free agent after he was released early from his contract with Turkey's Konyaspor.

The midfielder made his debut for Chiefs in Saturday's 4-1 demolition of Cape Town City, and in the encounter the former City star bagged an assist.

Speaking after the clash, Solinas told reporters: "Lebo, it is the first game, the problem (with) Lebo is the fitness, he's come to Kaizer Chiefs with no pre-season, we started the job with the fitness coach to get the fitness up.

"Lebo is a top player for me, this is a player to score more goals. Yes, in my opinion, he is not 100% fit.

"But when Lebo’s fitness is top, Lebo is an unbelievable player that can help us score goals, this is our player for Bafana Bafana."
