Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas refused to be drawn on reports that midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala is on the verge of joining Erzurumspor.
The Turkish club recently announced a deal with Kaizer Chiefs for the veteran midfielder's transfer.
However, although the club expects him to sign upon arrival in Turkey, neither Amakhosi nor Tshabalala's camp have confirmed that the move is imminent.
"I don't speak about the transfer of the players, I speak about the players I have in my squad," said Solinas.
"If Tshabalala and (Bernard) Parker (who is also the subject of transfer speculation) are in the squad, I train them without any problems. Tshabalala and Parker were at training, as usual.
"I can't talk about the transfer of players."
Tshabalala, 33, has spent 11 and a half years with Kaizer Chiefs and although he was linked with a move overseas after his fine form at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, nothing ultimately materialised.
Chiefs are preparing to face SuperSport United in the MTN8 semi-final first leg at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday
Kick-off is at 15:00.
