Sikhakhane joins AmaZulu on loan

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Thembela Sikhakhane has joined AmaZulu on loan for the third time in his career.

Sikhakhane, born in Ulundi, is right at home with Usuthu and is obviously admired by coach Cavin Johnson, who has reunited with the 26-year-old for the third time.

And the versatile back, who made 20 appearances in all competitions for Usuthu last season, is relishing the prospect of joining up with his team-mates once again.

"I’m looking forward to joining up with my team-mates again. I’m definitely sure that everyone wants to take the brand forward,” said Sikhakhane.

"Personally I was happy to contribute towards something at AmaZulu the past two seasons and I feel this year with more effort and support we can do better than before.

"I’m excited again to play in front of the passionate Usuthu supporters alongside my team-mates. All that will be left for me will be to work hard as I know I am capable of."
