Sibusiso Zuma picks Khune in five-a-side Dream Team

Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana forward Sibusiso Zuma has revealed who he would select in his five-a-side Dream Team.

Zuma will partake in this year's Smirnoff Raga Bolo five-a-side street soccer championship for the Smirnoff Kings, alongside Thabo Mngomeni, Benedict Vilakazi, Pollen Ndlanya and Stanton Fredericks.

The 41-year-old had a glittering career which started at African Wanderers in 1995 before he moved to the Buccaneers.

He then moved to Denmark to don the FC Copenhagen jersey for more than 140 appearances, scoring 40 goals in his stay.

His attacking flair helped Copenhagen to their second Danish title in almost 10 years and in 2013 Zuma's Copenhagen legendary status was confirmed after one of the goals he scored during his time at the club was voted the goal of the decade.

He then played in Germany for Arminia Bielefeld before returning to South Africa to play for Mamelodi Sundowns, Vasco da Gama and SuperSport United.

In an exclusive interview with Sport24, Zuma surprisingly chose an all-local five-a-side Dream Team.

Sibusiso Zuma's five-a-side Dream Team:

1. Itumeleng Khune

2. Lucas Radebe

3. Mark Fish

4. Hlompho Kekana

5. Benni McCarthy

When asked as to why he chose Kekana, Zuma simply said, "I like him, I like him a lot!"

During his time at Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana, Zuma played alongside Fish, Radebe and McCarthy.

"I played with Mark, his work rate, his dedication and he's one of the players I always wanted to play with," Zuma added.
