Cape Town - Orlando Pirates' versatile defender and midfielder Gladwin Shitolo believes that Muhsin Ertugral's demanding man-management style will help him improve his game.
The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Golden Arrows where he was one of the team's star performers.
His eye-catching form has led to a return to the Bucs where he is now thought to be in the fold to become a regular starter for Ertugral.
Nonetheless, the player believes that the Turkish manager's demanding coaching style will only help him to develop as a footballer.
Ertugral has become known down the years as a coach who isn't afraid to shout at his players if they don't respond to his instructions.
He told Soccer Laduma, "He's obsessed with winning. He's a winner. He doesn't want to lose and that's something I realised about him."
The Limpopo-born star added, "Sometimes when you make a mistake, and then the coach shouts at you - you listen, become awake and don't do it again. I handle it in a way that I want to learn and grow."
Shitolo could feature in Bucs' opening league game of the season against Arrows on 24 August. The action gets underway from 19:30.
