Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic coach Lehlohonolo Seema is hopeful that the club can one day get through the financial uncertainty they've been facing.

Celtic have endured a season with few highs and many lows mainly due to the unstable financial situation of the club's boss Max Tshabalala.

Former coach Steve Komphela was forced to quit after experiencing numerous player strikes due to unpaid wages, as well as limited funding to keep the side running professionally.

Nonetheless, despite the many setbacks - which included a match to be postponed against Cape Town City on April 14 due to a fans' strike action - Celtic are still managing to compete for a place in the top eight.

Celtic are next in action on Saturday when they face Highlands Park at the Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa.

Seema said: "We are blocking out all the external factors that are happening around us.

"After the last game on the 11th, then we can start talking to management about our future. For the moment, we are just looking at the game we have and we are pushing hard.

"Mentally, the players are very strong. We need to get off this rollercoaster that we've been on.

"It's been a crazy season but despite that craziness we are still getting results.

"Since the first game of the season, we'd never been out of the top eight until just a few weeks back.

"But we'll fight until we get there. We know it won't be easy but the hard work that the players have done will give us a chance."

Kick-off is at 15:00.
