Scott expects Ajax to improve

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town midfielder Granwald Scott believes his team is ready to bounce back from the slump that hit them towards the end of 2015.

Since lifting the MTN8 Cup, Ajax have been winless in seven games with five losses and two draws.

Scott insists the Urban Warriors will up their game in the second-half of the season where the club will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Ajax, though, will have to turn their immediate attentions to the league where they face Bloemfontein Celtic at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday night.

"We had a good week break, training has been good. I feel the team is ready and we are going for everything on Friday," Scott told KickOff.

"Bloemfontein also had a similar run to what we had. It's a home match, but I'm expecting a tough game, but for me every home game is supposed to be a three-pointer and that is what we are going for."

Kick-off is at 20:00.
