Cape Town - Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands says he will up for the challenge of facing Leonard Castro and Khama Billiat in the Soweto derby on Saturday.
Sandilands will up against a potent Chiefs attack that has fired the Amakhosi to the top of the table after nine games played in the league.
The Pirates shot-stopper, of course, knows all about the prowess of Billiat and Castro as they were all team-mates at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Sandilands told the media ahead of the Telkom Knockout quarter-final: "With regard to the strikers of Chiefs, any one of those can change a game.
"They've got those qualities about them. They've got unbelievable ability and skill, can do something out of nothing if required.
"Look. we know it's going to be a challenge, but we can only take it moment by moment on Saturday and see what kind of questions they're posing to us as a defence on that particular day.
"We know what they are capable of and we will respect them. They're very creative. I know those guys, two of them [Castro and Billiat] from the Sundowns days."
The Soweto derby will take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
