Cape Town - Polokwane City have signed former Jomo Cosmos goalkeeper Mwenya Chibwe on a three-year deal with the side from Limpopo.
Chibwe was a stalwart in goal for Cosmos last season as he made 23 appearances in all competitions.
The 25-year-old has plenty of experience in the professional game as he started his career with Garankuwa United in the National First Division, before moving to Platinum Stars (now Cape Umoya United).
However, he saw limited game-time with the now defunct Dinaledi before making his switch to Jomo Cosmos.
Nonetheless, it seems he will now have a chance to prove himself once again in the Premiership at City.
Speaking to Cosmos' official website: "Yes it's true I've moved to Polokwane City.
"I signed a three-year deal with them and I'm hoping to make the best of this opportunity because it's very important to my career."
