'Really Big' Chiefs not scaring Eymael

Cape Town - Polokwane City coach Luc Eymael believes his side have nothing to fear when they take on Kaizer Chiefs in Sunday's Premiership encounter.

The Limpopo-based side have arguably been one of the surprise packages of the season, with a recent 1-0 victory over Chippa United stretching their unbeaten run in the league to five matches.

In addition, Rise and Shine are in fourth place in the PSL and are level on points with SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits.

With Eymael at the helm since the start of the 2016/17 campaign, it has been an incredible season so far for Polokwane and they will no doubt look to extend their good run against Chiefs this weekend.

The Belgium coach expressed his view that this was possible. He told Goal: "Before each game it is 50-50. I said the same before the game against Orlando Pirates which we completely deserved to win (match ended in a 1-1). We completely outplayed them.

"This situation is a little different. Chiefs are a really big team and you can't compare them to us in terms of investment, but the job is done out on the pitch and my players have shown this season on several occasions that they can play against any team."

Sunday's action gets underway from 15:30 at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
