Ramagalela wants top 8 finish

Polokwane - Polokwane City striker Rodney Ramagalela said that Rise and Shine will be looking to make history in the upcoming 2016/17 Absa Premiership campaign as they want to finish inside the top eight for the first time since gaining a top flight promotion in 2013.

Sport24 reported earlier in the week that the 27-year-old forward completed his move to the Limpopo based side after penning a two-year deal.

Ramagalela says he would consider his stay in the North as a success if they could clinch a spot in the top half of the log.

“As everyone is aware that Polokwane City have never been in the top eight,” laments Ramagalela.

“So I’m here to add more help to the current team so that we can change that.

“I believe that this coming season we’ll do our best as a team to make sure that we finish the season in the top 8.

“And that’s something I would love to achieve with the team.”
