Ramagalela linked to Pirates

Cape Town - Platinum Stars striker Rodney Ramagalela has been linked to several Johannesburg clubs, according to his agent.

The striker has netted no less than 23 Premier Soccer League goals for Platinum Stars in the last two seasons and his form appears to have piqued the interest of several Gauteng clubs, including Orlando Pirates, Supersport United and Highlands Park.

Ramagalela is currently on suspension from the club, with reports revealing that he did not want to renew his contract.

“As I understand the charges for the suspension are because of subordination, but I don’t have all the facts with me and am sure that they all will come out during the internal hearing," said agent Mike Makaab as quoted by Soccer Laduma website.

“Rodney has not signed a new contract because he is looking to relocate to Johannesburg for family reasons, that is the reason why he has not signed.”
