Cape Town - Former Orlando Pirates winger Thabo Rakhale is excited about helping his new club Chippa United realise their ambitions.
The Soweto giants confirmed that the 27-year-old was leaving Pirates to join the Chilli Boys, with defenders Diamond Thopola and Phetso Maphanga going the opposite way.
Rakhale says he'll remember the good times with the Buccaneers, but is now keen on writing a new chapter in his story.
"I feel good to be part of Chippa United. They are an ambitious club and I want to be part of their goals going forward," Rakhale told Soccer Laduma website.
"I'm grateful to Pirates for what they have done for me and the experience I've gotten having played in the CAF club competitions.
"As an ambitious player I want to contribute more in terms of playing and Chippa as emerged as the club for me to do this."
Rakhale could potentially make his debut for Teboho Moloi's Chippa side in their next match, an away game at AmaZulu on January 7.
