Qalinge: Our fans deserve the best

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabo Qalinge admits he sympathises with the club’s fans as the Buccaneers go through a spiral of indifferent results.

According to KickOff, Qalinge says that they are not doing anything wrong when playing but indeed luck is not on their side.

“We are not getting result at the moment and our fans deserve the best,” Qalinge said.

“We will try and get results for them because they are great and they have always been supportive no matter what.

"I think we are not doing anything wrong; it’s just that we are not lucky. It doesn’t matter how much effort you put it, when luck is not on your side there is nothing you can do.

"But that doesn’t mean that we need to stop working. We must keep pushing until we get results we want.

"The supporters’ reaction is always good, and I want to thank them for being supportive and positive towards the team.”

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
