Qalinge, Mnyamane set to be released by SuperSport

SuperSport United chairman Stanley Matthews has confirmed that Thabo Qalinge and Thabo Mnyamane will be released from their contracts at the end of the season.

The duo will take the tally to three of the players to be released at the end of the season with captain Dean Furman also set for the exit door.

Qalinge, nicknamed 'Section 10' joined the club amid much fanfare, having made a good name for himself at Orlando Pirates five seasons prior. But the 28-year-old played just 82 minutes of football since joining at the beginning of the season and leaves without really having been given much of chance.

Mnyamane, who made a meteoric rise from Varsity football to join Matsatsantsa, has never been the same player since suffering a serious injury and will also leave Pretoria.

"Yes, at the end of their contracts they will be released," Matthews confirms to KickOff.
