Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Vincent Pule believes his move to the Sea Robbers from Wits in the off season came at the right time in his career.
The 26-year-old winger has been impressive in his first few months at the Soweto giants and over the weekend netted his third goal in nine games in the 2-1 victory over Baroka.
Pule admitted that he has had to dig deep to cement his place in Milutin Sredojevic's side because talent alone is never enough playing for a big team like Pirates.
"I think I came to Pirates at the right time, I came here to improve and to play for the club with a big heart," Pule told SuperSport.
"I think Pirates is a big team and you must have a big heart to succeed here. I told myself that with talent alone you will not go anywhere, but you have to work hard.
"You have to train hard and do extra work and I think that is what has worked for me. I also told myself to take the opportunity handed to me with both hands."
