The 26-year old midfielder, who joined the Buccaneers from Bidvest Wits before the start of the season, scored the second goal in the victory over Lidoda Duvha at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
He stated that his side had to dig deep to walk away with the three points against Joel Masutha's side.
The Soweto giants returned to winning ways after a three-match winless run.
"I think it was a tough game because we got a red card in the first half, but as a team we played well and fought for the three points," Pule told SuperSport.
"From the start of the season, my finishing was not good and I missed a lot of chances. I was very happy after scoring the goal.
"The supporters have been waiting for this win. They are happy and enjoying the three points.
"I think I have also settled well at Pirates, it was not that difficult to settle down because I already knew some of the players, but I have to continue working hard to improve."
