Cape Town - Orlando Pirates will be without Xola Mlambo and Vincent Pule when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns next Monday due to injury and suspension respectively.
The Sea Robbers are set to take on the Brazilians on April 1 in what could potentially be a title-deciding Absa Premiership clash at Orlando Stadium.
Currently, Downs lead the league on 43 points with Bucs just three points behind them in third position in the log standings. Bidvest Wits occupy second on 41 points.
As such, the absence of the highly influential Mlambo as well as attack-minded Pule could come as something of a blow to the Milutin Sredojevic-coached side.
In addition, goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo remains out with a long term injury while Linda Mntambo could miss out as he only recently resumed first team training.
The club's second assistant coach Fadlu Davids said: "Xola Mlambo is out [through injury], Brilliant Khuzwayo is still struggling with his knee.
"Linda Mntambo has just come back from a family obligation and started training today with the team. Other than that, everyone else is fine and available."
Next Monday's clash is set to get underway at 19:30.
