PSL to deal with Chiefs, Pirates fans brawl

Cape Town - The PSL confirmed that the league prosecutor will handle the matter regarding the brawl between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates fans.

Following the conclusion of the Soweto Derby on Saturday, November 7 at the FNB Stadium, both supporters got into a fight with one another and left a number of fans injured.

According to the Sowetan Live, both teams could face charges from the PSL disciplinary committee.

"We cannot comment on this matter - it has been forwarded to the PSL prosecutor,” PSL Media Relations Luxolo September said.

"The decision on next action is dependent on the prosecutor.”

Amakhosi came out victorious in the fixture and will face Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Knockout final in December.
