PSL set date for start of 2019/20 season

Cape Town - The Premier Soccer League has confirmed when the 2019/20 season will start.

The Absa Premiership and National First Division will kick-off on the weekend of August 2 and 3.

Meanwhile, the fixtures are set for released later this month or early in July.

The MTN8 Cup will follow a week after the start of the league with Mamelodi Sundowns entertaining Bloemfontein Celtic while Soweto giants Orlando Pirates take on plucky Highlands Park.

Wits face SuperSport United with reigning champions Cape Town City welcoming Polokwane City to the Mother City.
