The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have paid their respects to legend Cedric "Sugar Ray" Xulu, who has died following a battle with cancer.
The Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium is named after the club legend, who passed away at the age of 81.
Xulu made a name for himself in South African football during the 1960s and was admired by the likes of Jomo Sono.
"The Premier Soccer League is saddened by the news of the passing of South African football icon Cedric 'Sugar Ray' Xulu," the statement read.
"The League would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the Xulu family during this difficult moment.
"Xulu, who was recently honoured by the PSL Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza with a Chairman's Award at the 2018/19 PSL Awards in Durban, is regarded as one of South Africa's greatest ever players."
