PSL confirms promotion-relegation playoff fixtures

Cape Town - The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the fixture dates for the promotion-relegation playoffs that will be contested between Maritzburg United and NFD sides Royal Eagles and TTM FC.

The playoffs will follow a league format in which all clubs play each other home and away. There is no Under-23 rule and five foreigners may start.

Three clubs participate in the playoffs: Position 15 (Maritzburg United) in the Absa Premiership, Position 2 (Royal Eagles) in the National First Division and Position 3 (TTM FC) in the National First Division.

Free State Stars, who finished bottom of the Absa Premiership this season, have been relegated to the NFD, while Stellenbosch FC, winners of the NFD, will play their football in the Absa Premiership in the 2019/20 season.
