Cape Town - Polokwane City coach Clinton Larsen has confirmed the signing of Malawian Super League top-scorer Khuda Muyaba from Siver Strikers on a four-year contract worth R15 million.
Muyaba scored 21 league goas for Strikers last year to win the Golden Boot award in his second season with the Bankers.
When asked if they had completed the deal for the 26-year-old Malawian, Larsen told KickOff.
"Yes, yes," Larsen confirmed.
"We had him training with us... but yeah, we've got the two now. It's Denis Chembezi and the other boy is Kuda, I can't get his surname off the top of my head.
"He is also from Malawi; he was top scorer in the Malawian league. It's just a matter of [work] permits, yes."
Rise and Shine have only found the back of the net 16 times in the Absa Premiership and will be looking to Muyaba to solve their goal scoring woes.
Polokwane are currently 15th on the log standings and desperately need a string of victories to crawl out of the relegation zone.
This weekend Rise and Shine travel to the Kings Park Stadium to take on AmaZulu in a bottom of the log clash.
Kick-off is at 15:30 on Sunday.
