Cape Town - Golden Arrows will look to avoid a third successive Absa Premiership defeat when they host Polokwane City at Chatsworth Stadium.

The Durban side has claimed seven points from four home matches this season.

Abafana Bes’thende are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 14 points from 10 matches.

Polokwane claimed a second straight win in the league when they beat Platinum Stars 1-0 at home on November 21.

The Limpopo side has claimed four points from six away matches this season.

Rise and Shine are placed 11th on the Absa Premiership log with 12 points from 11 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Polokwane have met in two previous top flight league matches.

Both of those encounters took place in the 2013/14 season, with Abafana Bes’thende claiming a ‘double’ thanks to victories both home (3-2) and away (2-1).

The teams’ two league matches have seen no less than four penalties scored.
