Cape Town - Polokwane
City appear to have no intention of letting star striker Rodney
Ramagalela leave cheaply, as the club reportedly believe he is worth R6
Since the start of the 2016/17 season, the powerful forward has
managed an incredible 19 goals in the Absa Premiership including nine in just
16 appearances in the current campaign.
His performances are said to have caught the eye of a number of the
league's biggest teams, although it seems Rise and Shine do not want to
lose their prolific forward without a fight.
Soccer Laduma report that unnamed club's in South Africa's
domestic top flight have made inquiries about 'Rama G's' services,
however, the Bernard Molekwa-coached outfit are intent on keeping
Ramagalela until at least the end of 2017/18.
While it seems unlikely Polokwane will let him go in the January
transfer window, should any club wish to have him in their ranks it will
cost at least R6 million.
During a nine-year professional playing career which started in 2009,
the 29-year-old has featured for Black Leopards, Golden Arrows,
Mamelodi Sundowns and City.
Yet, despite a prolific scoring record for
his clubs down the years, the Mamvuka Pass-born star is yet to win a
cap for Bafana Bafana.
