Players buying into Larsen philosophy

Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen feels that his players are beginning to understand his vision in his second season at the Durban-based outfit.

Arrows began their season with a 3-1 loss to Orlando Pirates, but bounced back to clinch a 2-0 victory over Cape Town City FC.

Larsen made a number of signings in the transfer window, bringing in Vuyani Ntanga, Wayde Jooste, Lerato Lamola, Clifton Miheso, Limbikani Mzava and Lehlohonolo Nonyane.

"The signs are very positive and the team is starting to gel but remember we got a lot of new players," Larsen told KickOff.

"I've said it before we are work in progress and we are trying to improve all the time.

"The understanding is developing all the time so we will get better with each game that we play and we've only played two games so the new players are still finding their feet."

Arrows take on Free State Stars on Wednesday at 18:00.
