Platinum Stars communication manager, Tebogo Mochadibane, welcomed the decision that will see Dikwena compete in the Absa Premiership promotion/relegation playoffs.
"We have received the news very well, Mochadibane told Sport24.
"We have been preparing so we are ready to give it another shot.
"Since the final game of the season (1-0 win against Bidvest Wits) we have not stopped working because we knew that this matter is still on the table and there are still discussions around it so there could be an outcome that would favour us," he said.
"While we were waiting we thought, let us continue working and see where the week takes us."
Mochadibane confirmed that Dikwena were preparing to travel to Thohoyandou to face Black Leopards in the first promotion playoff fixture.
"It gives us a chance and the new owners a new opportunity to put in place what they have planned for the club, so if we come out of this (promotion playoffs) we can out our vision for the club into place," added Mochadibane.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
