Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has urged his club's fans to support Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby that will be played this weekend.
The Buccaneers take on rivals Kaizer Chiefs at a sold out FNB Stadium on Saturday in a crucial encounter that could have huge ramifications on the Absa Premiership title race.
Amakhosi currently top the league standings with 45 points, four points ahead of Sundowns (41 points) with 10 games of the season still remaining.
Mosimane told reporters: "Obviously if you want the league to be exciting, you don't wish them (Kaizer Chiefs) to win on Saturday.
"When we played (Bloemfontein) Celtic, did you see the Chiefs fans at Loftus? They came in numbers (to support Celtic).
"When we played Chippa (United), they came in big numbers. Probably Masandawana must go and join the Buccaneers there (at the FNB Stadium)."
Masandawana will be in continental action this weekend as they travel to Egyptian giants Al Ahly for the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
