Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says Saturday's Soweto derby is likely to have little bearing on the Absa Premiership title race as the game often ends in a draw.
Kaizer Chiefs played to a 0-0 stalemate with Bloemfontein Celtic last weekend and are now third in the table with a five-point deficit behind leaders Sundowns.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates are in second with just a four-point gap between themselves and the Brazilians in first.
Mosimane told reporters: "Be very careful of your talk, we are still in pole position neh. You must understand the games are getting lesser, the games are getting lesser.
"You know what is going to happen there. How do you know Chiefs is going to win the derby and is gonna beat Pirates? Are you sure? And you know what you usually get there."
Saturday's derby is set to take place at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. The action gets underway from 15:30. Meanwhile, Downs take on AmaZulu on Friday at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban.
