Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane confirms that it is highly likely that midfielder Andile Jali will join the club with negotiations ongoing between the two parties.
Jali is currently a free agent - after leaving Belgian side KV Oostende - putting both Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs along with Masandawana on high-alert to capture his signature.
"I haven't met him. We have been busy and you must know Andile has no pressure, he's got a clearance,” Mosimane was quoted as saying by KickOff.
"He's got no stress, so we are negotiating. When you negotiate it means he is interested otherwise you close the door and say I have signed with somebody or 'ngizonibona' (I will see you).
"But he is on the table so it is possible. And it is highly possible."
Mosimane revealed how the 44-capped Bafana Bafana international could be utilised at the Chloorkop based outfit if the player was motivated by the right reasons to play for the club.
"With all the games that we are playing, with the experience he has, the game attitude - he fits in well.
"He can play and pass the ball in the midfield, and he works hard.
"The only challenge will be that hunger, does he really, really want to come and play in the PSL and finish well? Or is it by the way I'm no longer there and I want to come home maybe because of family problems. Or maybe he wants to be with his family now?
"So that's also important. Does he also want to play for us?"
